Visitors entering the museum by crossing the bridge may spend some time in small open courtyard dotted with human scale manikins with embedded sound, eavesdropping on ‘conversations’ that provide a glimpse into the lives of the Sikh Diaspora across the globe.
The triangular shaped Foyer, open on all sides, is the hub of arriving and departing visitors. A large plasma screen orient the visitors on how to derive the maximum benefit from the museum. The cloakroom here is a pivotal point to orient visitors into the museum. The visitors can also avail the facility of multilingual audio-guides at the issuing station that is located after the first gallery.
